Steven “Megastar” Ragsdale’s story begins in the Jeffrey Manor and Englewood neighborhoods.

Like many, he has seen his share of violence and crime in the streets, but he has also seen

the happy side to these neighborhoods.

Not only is he an artist but also CEO of Loud Money Music Group, program Director for F.M.P Radio Chicago, owner & operator of Loud Money Music Radio powered through  the Fleet Radio Network, Fleet DJ Host & Reporter and published writer for the Fleet Magazine @thefleetmag.com, radio personality, event host, media professional, lead Moderator of the world renowned Fleet DJ Zoom calls which have been joined by some of the top artist in the country such as  DJ Khalid, Cardi B, MC Lyte, and Tisha Campbell just to name a few.

Blessed with the gift of being a poet, it is only natural that he is very good at interacting with talent and people who are looking to be successful. He has the ability to bring great talent into the Loud Money family as well as still provide great music himself. He has 2 full length albums under his belt “Food for Less” and "Empathy", as well as several mixtapes and guest appearances working and rubbing shoulders with a slew of talented, highly acclaimed, old & new school artists such as Rick Ross, Bobby v, Mya, Young Buck, Nas, Young Thug, Migos, Lil Wayne, Beanie Sigel, Plies, Bone-Thugs-n-Harmony, Do or Die, Shawnna, Hypno Carlito, Kirko Bangs, Scarface, EPMD, Too Short, Redman, Method Man, Project Pat, Twista, Paul Wall, Lil Zay Osama, Sleazy, Ace Hood, Big Boogie, Soulja Boy, Up and coming new talent Fendi Da Rapper, Tee Grizzley, Sada Baby, Fredro Bangz,  NLE CHOPPA, The Lox, Goodie Mob, Treach and Vinnie of Naughty By Nature and a host of others.

Megastar has also hosted The Hyde Park Summer Fest,  The African fest here in Chicago, and was a moderator for The MTV Music awards in Newark, New Jersey & also the BET Music Awards in Atlanta. GA made possible by ACE magazine.  Megastar has hosted and presented shows all over the United States and plans to take his talent and business savvy approach out of the country in the coming year.

With his drive and dedication to the task at hand, and his ability to produce a body of work that can only be compared to the greatest artists of our time, this statement reigns true... his work ethic will tell you everything that you need to know.

Megastar has become one of the biggest names in promotion to come out of the city. Traveling and taking the brand to other cities like New Jersey, Atlanta, Houston, Minnesota, Orlando, Ohio- Megastar has established a name for himself that carries the weight of God's. Branching out and becoming a much sought after Promotor, Host, as well as performer, he has gone beyond any one single title could cover.  

Megastar has been in a number of blogs & publications including THE REVEAL OF BORNRICH MAGAZINE which is sold all across the US. 

Just to add to his accomplishments, Megastar has now been added to the Hip Hop Museum here in Chicago IL as one of the founders of Hip Hop!
